Queremos Paz

There is powder smell in the air, I can’t watch the news anymore. Talks are only about Lebanon and Israel and right when you think that no worse can happen, you have just witnessed the opposite on your TV set.

Israel is destroying Gaza and all Lebanon, 150 Lebanese civilians dead in 5 days. Why ? Because 1 soldier was kidnapped near Gaza and another two in north Israel. So Mr Haniya, Mr Nasrallah is it worh it !?

Poor Lebanon, poor Gaza: Hijacked by Hamas and Hizbollah, destroyed by Tsahal.

When is it going to be understood that PEACE is the only option for the Middle East. That Israel can’t be displaced neither can be all the Arab countries around. That based on this simple fact, the only option that remains is that Arabs and Israelis live together in peace.

Violence will take nobody anywhere, how many escalations the region will know before both parties understand that violence is useless. It brings only destruction, death and mourning.

Israel and Tsahal are like huge monsters that you don’t want to wake up cause’ they will destroy everything around, and when they hit there is always “collateral” damage. And in today’s case they reached an exceptional level of cruelty. They decided to deal with the Hizbollah problem for the last time.

So please, somebody help me understand what’s the logic behind the hijacking of the soldiers !?

Am I mistaken to think that peace is what every human being is naturally looking for!?

It In these times of war I am shocked every time I read the head titles on some newspapers: “Hassan Nasrallah promised Israel to do so and so…” it reminds me of my first year of high school, when we stayed awake to see the start of the first gulf war live, as if we were in a theatre or watching a video game… except it was for real. The people dying were real, and what happened and is still happening in Irak is real.

All through the war I was reading “Echourouk” which was praising Saddam Hussein’s army and their achievements as if they were winning the war. Then you realize that what’s happening around is so wrong, that war is so wrong. I was a kid and I understood it… but it seems that some people never grow old, they still want to watch war on TV as if it was a reality show, and are still following a fake reverie of lost primacy.

There must be some other ways to fix issues in the area other than throwing missiles, hijacking soldiers, blasting human bombs, bombing civilians, destroying a country infrastructure…

But for now, all we got is madness… and reality horror TV.

Yeah what happened to human race? Are we really so bored that watching people being bombed became the ultimate fun thing to watch on TV? How disappointing from a race that brags about being a rational one eh?

How many years have they had the same conflict in that area? Ever since i remember, at least. And ever since i remember too, they have been trying violence as the answer to their problems.

As my good old friend Einstein said:

Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Where is our human sanity these days?

Anis my friend!

Why is it when I see you, we talk about girls...and then you write something like this on your blog. I'll never understand you.

What's going on in the Middle East is really saddening. I've heard many tragic war stories from the past..but when it is happening NOW it's really hard to comprehend. Being the ignorant person that I am, it's almost like a reality show because if I don't like what I see I can turn the TV off. And tomorrow is another day. But that's far from the truth.

I ain't no expert/activist, but killing is definitely a messed up awful mentality. Who has the right to take the lives of another? Nobody.

I felt the sadness , the injustice of this world That lebanon woke up with war last week
Just i've been in beirut for 4 days ,and i felt the soul of this land,of the people there, eager to do everything to rebuild this wonderful city, i felt the soul of the pepole that were living under war for years and find finally peace , soul mixed with fear and love for their country, and from what they afraid it's happen again, it’s so sad to watch this earth destroying again, no response for why?????????? For whaaaaaaaaaat ??????????

In jordan i have met one palistinien man 70years old, ,could settle down there as a lot of palistiniens , when he told us how they had been rejected from their house in Haifa, their land,You feel how much unfairness in this world, his country just some kilometres but he can never come back , THEY kidnaped his childhood, his past...his eyes are screaming the injustice...

Just feel and cry will not lead to anything at least write ...

The ugly decease!

Many Arabs had this, amazingly and rare right, intuition that israel is a cancer decease, that got to the Middle Eastern body. Yet, none of them thought to face this decease, with the appropriate way...
I would compare the reactions of Arabs to that decease, as if the cancer decease host thought, that it's enough to take headache pills to protect himself, or to take the fake medecine offered, from time to time, by fake friend as European countries, or even worst from the american feeder of this decease!...
I always believed in the similarity of the physical, social, and historical facts...Nobody is lucky when he gets this decease, to start with; but when the Middle East, already, had to, assume the worst luck, in the world, and deal with this affliction, it becomes his sole responsability how to defeat effectively this decease, and lead its body again to the healing process. It's exactly like the process of the biological body; the recovery has to be at least in two steps. First the defeat of the decease, then the slower process of healing. The Arabs "Helas" never understood that. They wanted to negociate with the decease, to make compromises; hoping that the decease will let them at least survive, regardless of the complete destruction of some of their organs...
I like to say to Arabs, to the Arab Nation; you gave too much chances to this cancer decease to grow, and prosper inside you. More it grows, more you're close to die. Is it too late? I don't know for sure, but I have a big hope in life, in health, and in the capacity of any body to heal himself if it really decides to. The cancer decease is very personal; it's almost like another "aware entity" is competing with you, to possess your body, your life and the conclusion of your history...
I ask all the Arabs, including Lebanese and Palestinians (where the decease is the most raging now): Do you want to die? Are you giving up from History, and Existence? If not, don't be fool, like you've been, and choose all the ridiculous ways to face this fatal danger ( and I'm not saying it by the mean of admiration, but by the mean of disgustion and repulsion ). To defeat and heal from this ugly decease, you don't need absolutely to be wealthy, to have security guards, or to be admitted in any club...The most you need, is your inner strenght, and your faith, not in the powers of this world, or the powers of another world, but in yourself. It's your beliefs of what is right and what is wrong without confusion that it will lead you to the powers of your inner...If you are scared from death by itself, you will loose, there is no doubt about that, and this lost means you will vanish from History. For death should not be scaring, specially a heroic death; it is another status of Nature and of Existence. What is the real scare, is the Unatural, the injustice, the agression, the deceases. And what is more pitiful and tragic in this world than to die for ever, by giving up to the glory of an ugly decease!...
Thank You!
